Central Children's Home Cross Country Festival

The Central Children’s Home Cross Country Festival is hosted by the Central Children’s Home of North Carolina and the Durham Striders Youth Association in Oxford, North Carolina, at the Central Children’s Home campus, 211 W. Antioch Dr. The festival takes place in September and includes open, youth, middle school, high school, and collegiate divisions. Proceeds will partly benefit the Central Children’s Home of North Carolina and the Durham Striders Youth Association.

Courses use grass fields and farm roads. Packet pickup is available the day before and on the event day at the Central Children’s Home Pavilion. Listed entry fees are $20 for the named run events. Timing and official results are provided by an event timing service.

Distances contested include:

• 6 km open and collegiate women's races
• 8 km open and collegiate men's races
• 2 km, 3 km, 4 km, and 5 km youth and school races

Strollers or baby joggers are not allowed on course areas, and pets are prohibited. The festival includes multiple races throughout the day for a range of age groups and competitive levels. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
