The Cazenovia Preservation Foundation Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Cazenovia, NY. The event offers two distances:

Courses are out-and-back on a gravel converted rail-trail (Gorge Trail). The event uses professional chip timing and operates separate courses with staggered starts; both distances share the same start location. Registration closes November 25, 2025. Entry fees are: $20 for CPF members, $25 for non-members, $35 for day-of-race registrations for ages 13 and up, and free for children aged 12 and under.

Location and race logistics

The trail access is the Gorge Trail - Clark Street entrance. Parking is available at Burton Street Elementary School, 37 Burton St., Cazenovia, NY 13035. There are no bathroom facilities at the trail head. Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the trail during the race. The event collects non-perishable food donations for Caz Cares.
