Catch Me if You Can! is a winter race series in Billings running from December 6, 2025 to April 4, 2026. The series includes four separate races held on different dates and at different local sites. The organizer stages staggered individual starts so runners begin based on predicted finish times; faster predicted runners start later and chase others toward the finish. Hot beverages are provided after each race.

The Chill 4K is on December 6, 2025 and is moved to Swords Park. The Flurry 5K is on January 3, 2026 at High Sierra. The Blizzard 8K is on February 7, 2026 at Zimmerman. The Thaw 10K is on April 4, 2026 at Swords.

Series rules and prizes

The series awards points for each race (1st = 25 points, 2nd = 24, 3rd = 23, continuing down to 5 points). Participation, volunteering, or a first race earns 5 points. Top five overall series finishers receive cash prizes: $100, $75, $50, $25, and $15. The series is free for Yellowstone Rim Runners members; individual and family membership options are offered when registering for the series. Registration deadlines apply for individual races. Catch Me If You Can! is a winter race series in Billings with four races from a brisk 4K to a 10K at local parks. Staggered starts mean faster runners chase others to the finish and hot drinks await every finisher.

Run the Billings Skyline Races for a scenic challenge along the Rimrocks and Skyline Trail. Choose a rolling 13.1 mile loop or a longer 30K that adds elevation, with panoramic views of the Yellowstone Valley and Beartooth Mountains.

Experience the Montana Cup, a spirited cross country team meet in Billings on Oct 31 where regional squads compete for a traveling trophy over a rugged 5k to 8k course of grass, dirt and possible mud or snow. Team jerseys are required.
