29th Annual Chief Joseph Uphill Run
The Chief Joseph Uphill Run is a recurring athletic event held in Laurel, Montana. The course begins at Thomson Park on 6th Street. From the starting point, the route leads participants through the hills located north of the town before returning to finish back at the park.
Participants can select from three different course distances:
- 2-mile run
- 4-mile run
- 8-mile run
The event center and primary location for race day activities is the Thomson Park Shelter. Registration completed by late June includes a commemorative T-shirt.
Packet pickup is available on multiple days prior to the event at the Laurel Chamber of Commerce on East Main Street. For those unable to attend the early pickup window, the organizers also provide packet collection on the morning of the race at Thomson Park. The 8-mile event is scheduled to begin 30 minutes earlier than the shorter distance races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
