Camp Innabah Challenge Trail 5K
The Camp Innabah Challenge Trail 5K is an annual event held at one of the oldest summer camps in Pennsylvania. Located in Spring City at 712 Pughtown Road, the venue overlooks the French Creek in scenic Chester County. Participants can choose between two main formats:
- 5K Run
- 5K Hike
The course features a mix of dirt trails, gravel roads, and short paved sections that traverse rolling terrain. While the run is available for those seeking a timed experience, the hiking option is for walkers who receive the event amenities but are not timed or scored.
Participants registered by the mid-March deadline are guaranteed a race shirt. All attendees have access to a variety of post-race amenities including a pancake and bacon breakfast in the camp dining hall and an Easter Egg hunt for all ages. The event also hosts camp games and site tours. Awards are provided for the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three finishers in several age categories starting from 17 and under up to 60 and over.
The race proceeds benefit summer camping programs and scholarship funds. The event takes place rain or shine, and registration fees are non-refundable due to the charitable nature of the program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
