Course
The course is described as relatively flat. It passes marsh ponds, follows wooded boundaries past hundreds of acres of farmland, includes a muddy section, and finishes with about the last mile on grassy surface. The route takes place on private property in northern Chester County.
On-site logistics and post-race
This is a rain-or-shine event; participants are advised to dress for mud. Pets are not permitted on site. Parking follows on-property signs; the access road is narrow and gravel, and drivers should keep speeds under 25 MPH. Post-race provisions include a food truck, beer and spirits supplied by local providers, a DJ, demonstrations by ChesCo Search Dogs, and talks by environmental biologists.
