The Fifth Street Rock Monster is a trail running event held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Forever Farm in Mertztown, Pennsylvania. The event offers several trail race distances.
Location and Course
The race takes place on private singletrack trails at Forever Farm, located at 228 Five Points Road. The course uses continuous loops on technical, rugged singletrack with significant elevation gain. The layout was changed from a previous "figure 8" design to continuous loops to simplify navigation.
Distances
The event includes the following distances on a looped trail course:
- 5K: Two laps, 270 feet of vertical gain.
- 10K: 1.5 laps, 550 feet of vertical gain.
- Trail Half Marathon: Three laps, 1250 feet of vertical gain.
- Trail Marathon: Six laps, 2500 feet of vertical gain.
- Trail Ultra Marathon Relay: A team event for three runners, where two must be on course at the same time.
Weekend Schedule
Activities span the weekend. A mountain bike race is scheduled for Saturday, April 11. Free overnight camping at the farm is available on Saturday. On Sunday, April 12, check in opens at 8:00 AM and racing starts at 9:00 AM.
Amenities and Awards
Participants receive a free meal and a drink post race. A beer is included for those aged 21 and over. Fully stocked aid stations and water are provided on the course.
