Event

The Calvary 5K Trail Run "Run for the Son" takes place on March 7, 2026, in Shreveport, LA at 9333 Linwood Ave., 71106. The event is organized by Calvary Family Life Center (FLC) and Faith Missions Ministries. The run supports Calvary’s mission activities and fundraising for the girls’ soccer team to travel to Ecuador. The event program includes:

  • Sleep-In Supporter

Logistics

Each listed event has a registration fee of $20. Registration opens December 5, 2025 at 7:00am CST. The t-shirt deadline is February 14.

Packet pickup is available at RUN WILD (next to Silver Star Grill on Ellerbe Rd) on Thursday, March 5, and at Calvary Family Life Center (FLC, blue metal roof building) on Friday, March 6. Race-day packet pickup will also be available at the race site.

Refreshments at the event include fruit, other refreshments, music, and jambalaya. Overall male and female winners will receive a medal; first and second place in each age group will also receive medals. Age groups are: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
