The Butcombe Trail Ultra is an exciting running event featuring 50-mile and 50-kilometre self-navigation ultramarathons set in the stunning Mendip Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Organized by volunteers from Bristol's Town & Country Harriers, the event aims to benefit the Mendip Hills Fund. The course, primarily off-road, showcases beautiful landscapes and includes a route that passes by six local pubs. The 2025 edition introduces a new 50 km race, while the 50-mile race will run anticlockwise for a fresh perspective.
