Event Overview
The Burralow Bush Run Kids Course is a children's running event held in conjunction with the Burralow Bush Run. It is a 1.5 km cross-country trail run. The event hub is located at the Bilpin Fruit Bowl on Bells Line of Road in Bilpin, New South Wales, Australia.
The Course
The course starts and finishes at the main event hub at the Bilpin Fruit Bowl. It travels through the Fruit Bowl's apple orchard on a well-marked and marshalled route. The terrain is described as unsteady.
Participation Details
Children of any age are welcome to register, from toddlers to teenagers. Children aged 6 years and under are required to run with an accompanying adult. The accompanying adult does not need to register. Each registered child receives a finisher's medal. Registration costs $10 per child.
Event Format
The kids event is scheduled to take place after the associated 16 km event is complete. This allows parents or carers who participate in the 16 km run to also join their children for the kids course. The event hub is described as family-friendly, with encouragement to bring a picnic rug. There will be RFS (Rural Fire Service) community engagement at the venue.
Registration Notes
