Burger and Trail Event

The Burger and Trail is a trail running event held at Fox Rush Farm Community Woodland. The event is organized by New Marske Harriers in partnership with the Dormanstown Community Sports and Recreation Group. Participants run through the grounds of the woodland area on a flat course that utilizes established paths.

There are two primary distances available for participants:

The scheduling of the two distances is arranged so that participants have the option to enter and compete in both races if they choose. For the 3k distance, children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the run. Accompanying adults who are not registered participants do not receive event amenities such as medals or food.

Participants receive chip-timed results through a dedicated timing partner. Race numbers are not sent by mail and must be collected on-site on the day of the event. Registration remains open until late May, with a total capacity of 150 runners for each of the two distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
