Bridge Burner Ultra is a late-season trail running event in Cañon City, Colorado on October 24, 2026. The event offers multiple distances:

The main course is a single loop that begins in the historic mining town of Canon City and follows the Arkansas River. The route passes through granite-blasted Tunnel Drive tunnels, climbs to a high point at 7,109 feet with views of the Royal Gorge and Pikes Peak, traverses rolling singletrack in Royal Gorge Mountain Park, crosses the highest bridge in the United States, and descends through Temple Canyon. The longer courses include several thousand feet of elevation gain, with the main loop listed at roughly 4,500 feet.
Packet pickup occurs at Centennial Park the day before and on the morning of the event. Aid stations are described as well stocked with Tailwind, Muir Energy Gels, fruit, snacks, and warm cooked options including bacon, quesadillas, potatoes, and pierogis. Crewing is allowed only at designated, crew-accessible aid stations; pacing is prohibited. All aid stations are accessible by two-wheel-drive vehicles.
Registration closes October 20, 2026. Registered entrants receive a gender-specific race shirt, a BOCO trucker hat (excludes 10k), a personalized bib and finisher award, and a post-race meal.
