The Bridge Burner Ultra takes place in Cañon City, Colorado on October 25, 2025. The event offers multiple distances:

The primary course is a single loop that starts at Centennial Park and follows the Arkansas River before passing through the granite-blasted Tunnel Drive tunnels. Runners climb to a reported high point of 7,109 feet with views of the Royal Gorge, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and Pikes Peak. Much of the route is rolling singletrack through Royal Gorge Mountain Park. The course crosses the highest bridge in the United States and finishes after a descent through Temple Canyon. Listed total elevation gain varies by distance: about 4,400 feet for the 35 mile, 4,200 feet for the 50K, 2,800 feet for the 35K, and 575 feet for the 10K.
Logistics and support
Packet pickup is set for the day before the race at Centennial Park and on race morning at Centennial Park. Registration closes October 22, 2025. Registrations include a gender specific race shirt, a BOCO trucker hat (excludes 10K), a personalized bib and a finishers’ award, well stocked aid stations, and a post-race meal.
Aid stations are described as well stocked with Tailwind, Muir Energy gels, baked goods, snacks, fruit, soda, and hot cooked options such as bacon, quesadillas, potatoes, and pierogis. Tunnel aid is not crew accessible; Gorge, Temple, and Hard Times aid stations are crew accessible and accept drop bags. Pacing is prohibited. All aid stations are accessible by 2WD vehicles. Parking is available at Centennial Park and nearby locations. Camping is available at Royal Gorge Park East Ridge Campground for a nightly fee.
