The Sangre de Cristo Trail Festival is a trail running event held Saturday–Sunday, September 26–27, 2026, near Westcliffe, Colorado. The start/finish area is at Greenhorn/Music Meadows Ranch, adjacent to the U.S. Forest Service Grape Creek Trailhead. The combined runner capacity for the event is 350. The course follows the Rainbow Trail through the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The 100-mile event has a 38-hour overall cut-off.

Logistics and facilities
Camping is allowed at the start/finish area, with tent spaces and a tent-rental option available; limited space is available for camping trailers. Aid stations are described as well stocked. Drop bags are allowed at Music Meadows and at some aid stations; participants may access drop bags each time they reach Music Meadows. The race operates under permits from the U.S. Forest Service, the San Isabel National Forest - San Carlos Ranger District, and private landowners.
Rules, crew, pacers and volunteer requirements
Mid-race drop-downs are permitted at designated locations for several distances, with specific rules for where and how to drop down. Pacers are not allowed for the 8-Mile, 27k, or 50k; pacers for longer distances must sign a waiver, wear a pacer bib, and carry a headlamp. Each 100-mile entrant has a volunteer-service requirement of eight hours or may pay a buy-out fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
