Bread & Honey Trail Run

The Bread & Honey Trail Run is a community trail race that starts and finishes at River Grove Community Centre in Streetsville, Mississauga. The course quickly connects to nearby trails and is entirely trail-based with clear markings.

Distances offered:

  • 1 km Fun run for kids, families, and first-timers
  • 5 km Trail run for recreational and competitive runners

The route follows winding trails along the river, with tree-covered paths and natural shade. Terrain includes gentle curves and varied surfaces, creating a calm, scenic setting. The 5 km is chip timed. Race entries include professionally organized and marked courses, on-course volunteer support, and a relaxed community-focused atmosphere.

An optional premium technical T-shirt from Craft Canada is available for pre-order at an additional cost; shirts must be pre-ordered by April 15. A portion of proceeds supports Camp Wanago to help provide affordable summer camp experiences for local children. The event emphasises a low-stress start area, volunteer support, and an inclusive environment for walkers, joggers, runners, families, and children.
