ELEVATE at Kelso Conservation

ELEVATE, presented by CITY SHRED, takes place on June 27, 2026 at Kelso Conservation Area, 5234 Kelso Road, Milton ON L9E 0C6. Race kit pick up is scheduled the morning of June 27 at Registration in the West Lodge.

Distances offered:

  • Adults: 5K, 10K, MAX Elevation, 20K relay (team of 4)
  • Kids: 2K, MAX Elevation (1 hour limit)

The course uses a loop of approximately 3 km with about 145 m of elevation per loop. The route includes an ascent of one hill, a descent on another section, a traverse across the top escarpment, return through the start/finish area, and another climb. Course details are provided in loop and elevation terms.

Specific format notes:

  • MAX Elevation: as many loops as possible within a 3 hour limit.
  • 5K: approximately 190 m elevation across 2 loops.
  • 10K: approximately 380 m elevation across 4 loops.
  • 20K relay: each team member of four completes two loops of about 3 km.

There will be two aid stations on the adult course and one on the kids course supplying water, electrolytes and snacks. Professional chip timing will be used. The event will proceed in rain according to the stated weather plan. A Life Athlete Village in front of the West Lodge will host participants after the challenges and awards ceremonies will follow once the events are complete.
