The event is a 5 Peaks Trail Running race held at Crawford Lake Conservation Area on Saturday, June 6. It is part of the 5 Peaks Ontario Trail Running Series. The conservation area includes three reconstructed Indigenous longhouses and offers programs, exhibits, gardens, and workshops developed with Indigenous partners to provide information about the area’s Indigenous history. Spectators are welcome. Volunteer opportunities are available.

Race logistics and rules

Washroom facilities are available at the start and finish area. The event is cup-free; water and electrolyte drink are available at the start and finish and at one or more on-course aid stations. Runners who expect to be on course longer than about an hour should carry a receptacle for liquids and calories. The organizer prohibits dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles on the course. Awards and finisher medals are not included with individual event registration and must be picked up at the race; medals are awarded to the top three finishers by gender in each age category and to the top three overall.
