5 Peaks - Crawford Lake

The fourth race of the 5 Peaks Ontario Trail Running Series takes place at Crawford Lake Conservation Area. The site combines a natural trail environment with three reconstructed Indigenous longhouses used for public education through programs, exhibits, gardens, and workshops developed with Indigenous partners.

Offered distances:

  • Kid's Race : 1 km
  • Kid's Race : 3 km
  • Sport Run or Hike : 6.1 km
  • Enduro Run or Hike : 12.3 km
  • Grit Run : 18.4 km

Route maps are provided for each distance and may change based on trail conditions up to race day. The event schedule includes onsite packet pick up, staggered starts by wave for different distances, and an awards ceremony once results are compiled.

Notable rules and services: dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles are not permitted on course. The event is cup free; water and electrolyte drink are available at the start, finish, and at one or more aid stations. Participants expected to be on course for more than an hour are advised to carry a container for liquids and calories. Washroom facilities are available at the start/finish area and spectators are welcome.

Swag and finisher medals are not included with individual event registration and can be purchased separately through the registration platform. All swag, awards, and medals must be picked up at the race and will not be mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

A looped trail weekend in Ancaster offering 10K to 100 mile events on 20 km loops with over 500 m elevation per loop and four aid stations. The 100K and 100 mile races offer Western States qualifying opportunities.

A 100 miles ultradistance route that circles the City of Hamilton starting in Carlisle. Finish the whole route within 40 hours for a gold buckle or spread the distance across June to earn a pewter buckle.

Community trail race in Streetsville along tree covered river paths. Offers a 1 km fun run for families and a chip timed 5 km; proceeds partly support Camp Wanago and an optional technical race shirt is available.

Hope in Motion 2026 in Caledon East offers cycling routes and 5 km and 10 km trails for walking, running, or rolling while raising funds for CMHA Peel Dufferin mental health and addictions services.
