The Braveheart 5km Run 2026 takes place on Friday 12 June 2026 at the Porchfields in Trim. The event is organised by Trim Athletic Club and has been held since 2010. A permit has been approved, cert. no. 24/99.
The route runs along the banks of the historic River Boyne and passes among a collection of medieval monuments in the town. The course offers notable local landmarks for runners and spectators.
The race distance is 5 km. Entrants must be 16 years and older. The event is chip timed and a technical t-shirt is provided to the first 450 registered participants. Prizes are offered for male and female categories: Overall and o/40, o/45, o/50, o/55, o/60, o/65, o/70.
