Braveheart 5K Trim
The Braveheart 5km Run 2026
Since 2010 the Braveheart 5km has been organised by Trim Athletic Club and forms part of the local running calendar. The event on 12 June 2026 is held in Trim, County Meath, and follows a route along the banks of the historic River Boyne. The course passes among a collection of medieval monuments, a feature often noted by runners and spectators.
The event is a chip timed 5 kilometre run with an AI permit granted. Entry is open to those aged 16 and over. The first 450 registered participants receive a technical t-shirt. Prizes are offered for male and female categories, including overall placings and age-group awards starting at over 40 and continuing in five year increments up to over 70.
