Route and logistics

The route uses paths in Ardgillan Demesne, includes rolling hills, runnable climbs, a beach section on firm sand, and the Parkrun finish hill. The Lady's Stairs footbridge over the road and railway provides access and is noted as a tricky section; runners should keep left for contraflow and descending runners have right of way. Marshals will cover key turns. The relocated finish adds about 300 m along a laneway beside the start parking field. A junior course of approximately 5 km runs inside the park and finishes at the same place as the main race.

Parking is at Ardgillan Castle Car Park with directions from the M1 and local brown signage. Dublin Bus 33 serves nearby stops and both Balbriggan and Skerries train stations are just over 4 km from the park. There are public toilets near the top car park and at the castle.
