Boney Mountain Trail Run : Rancho Sierra Vista / Satwiwa National Park

The Boney Mountain event includes a half-marathon and a 7k trail race through the Santa Monica Mountains and Point Mugu State Park backcountry. The courses pass through Sycamore Canyon and feature creek crossings, single-track climbs, and ocean views beneath boulder-strewn peaks.

The event is Race 1 of the SoCalTrail Trail 1/2 Series of six half-marathons in 2026 and is scheduled for February 7, 2026. Races are held without disposable cups; minimum hydration requirements may be enforced based on weather.

Race amenities and services include finisher medals and race shirts, free course photography, post-race plant-based breakfast tacos, sports massage by Vision For Enrichment, same-day results, and professional medical support. Aid stations on course are stocked with Skratch Labs hydration. Age-group and overall awards are presented at a post-race festival. A $500 bonus is offered for a new half-marathon course record.
