Singletrack Stampede

The Singletrack Stampede takes place at the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, using the Chesebro Trailhead and trails in Cheeseboro and Palo Comado Canyons near Calabasas, CA. The event features trail terrain that includes creekside oak forest, chaparral canyons and ridgeline fire roads with notable climbs and a downhill approach to the finish.

The course is professionally marked and mapped with Footpath as the official navigation tool. Aid stations are staffed and provide cold water, Skratch electrolyte hydration and EMT medical support. Race services included with entry are a locally made finisher medal, free course photography, a plant based breakfast, hot coffee, sports massage by Vision for Enrichment and same day results. There is an awards ceremony for age group and overall podium finishers and a $500 course record bonus for the 22k distance.

This race is presented as Race 3 of the SoCalTrail Trail 1/2 Series for 2026. Volunteers may earn race credits and receive race swag, meals and massage.
