The event is described as an inaugural trail run along the creek through canyon trails and oak-lined paths and welcomes runners, walkers and hikers. One hundred percent of proceeds support the Stepping Stones Riding Program, which aims to connect horses and people with low cost riding lessons and horse experiences regardless of circumstances. Medals are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place age group winners, male and female. Age groups are: 13 & under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 & over.
