Las Virgenes Canyon Ultra Trail Races

Las Virgenes Canyon Ultra Trail Races returns for 2026 at the Victory Trailhead in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. The event uses rugged singletrack and fire roads with punchy climbs and wide open views. It is listed as the successor to the former Ahmanson Ranch Trail Races and takes place on April 25, 2026.

Distances offered span short trail outings to ultramarathon distances:

  • 100K
  • 84K
  • 54K
  • 30K
  • 12K
  • 6K

The event is fully supported at aid stations and operates a cupless policy, so participants should bring their own bottle or hydration vest. Course markings use color codes, with the 6K marked in pink and the 12K and longer courses marked in purple; a notable left turn is near mile 5.5. Drop bags are accepted for 30K and longer and are available at the trailhead only. Pacers are permitted for specific distances after designated laps. Parking options include a cash lot with a small fee for certain participants and free street parking on Victory Boulevard. Bib pickup is staged so longer distances have earlier pickup and shorter distances have later pickup. After the event there are food, drinks, music, recovery services, medals and event swag. Entry fees vary by distance and by registration period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
