Bodmin Bluelight 10K Trail Race
The Bodmin Bluelight 10K Trail Race is a charity event organized by the Bodmin Running Club and the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service. Located in Cardinham Woods near Bodmin, the event serves to raise awareness for emergency services and collect funds for several organizations, including The Fire Fighters Charity, The Ambulance Staff Charity, and the Police Benevolent Fund.
The course consists of a single loop through the woods and includes the following distance:
- 10 km trail run
The route features forest paths and a variety of inclines. Participants have the option to run, jog, or walk the course. The event is open to the general public, including affiliated and non-affiliated runners.
In addition to the general entry, the race hosts the Tri-County Cup Challenge. This specific competition involves firefighters from Cornwall, Devon, and Somerset competing for a trophy.
