TSUNAMI Ocean Trails is a coastal trail running event on the North Devon and Cornish coastline, scheduled for Saturday 6 June 2026. The routes follow clifftops and cliff trails between towns on the coast, finishing in Bude. The marathon starts at Clovelly harbour and finishes on the lawns of Castle Bude, taking in almost 2,000 m of ascent along that route. The courses are on wild and isolated terrain with large ascents and descents.

  • Ultra - around 37 miles, from Westward Ho! to Bude.
  • Marathon - Clovelly to Bude.
  • Sixteen - 16 miles, from Hartland Quay to Bude.

  • All races are fully marked and marshalled. First aid is provided on course and at headquarters.
  • A bespoke medal is offered to all finishers. Bespoke t-shirts and bus transport to the start from Castle Bude are available to purchase as part of entry.
  • Bus fares listed: Castle Bude to Ultra start £15; to Marathon start £12; to 16 Mile start £12.
  • GPX files and a route map from 2023 are available on the event pages.
  • Entries open 27 June 2025 and close 3 June 2026. Entry fees vary by race and by UKA membership status, with early and later prices shown on the entry system.
  • Dogs are not permitted with runners during the race.
