Blossom to Bottle 5K Run & 3K Walk

The Blossom to Bottle event takes place on April 11, 2026, at Johnsons Orchard in Bedford, Virginia. It includes two participation options:

  • 5K
  • 3K walk

Registration opens February 2. Fee tiers for the 5K are $25 (Feb 2–Mar 8), $30 (Mar 9–Apr 11) and $35 on race day. Fee tiers for the 3K are $20 (Feb 2–Mar 8), $25 (Mar 9–Apr 11) and $30 on race day. A family discount applies: families of four or more receive a $2.00 reduction per entry when that option is selected during registration. The last day to guarantee a t-shirt is March 20, 2026.

Packet pickup is available for pre-registered participants at the Bedford YMCA on April 10 from noon to 6:00 PM. Race-day packet pickup is at Johnsons Orchard from 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

Amenities listed for the event include free wine samples, a camp fire, s’mores and mini charcuterie boxes. The 5K is chip timed by Riverside Runners and follows a rolling off-road course through apple fields, a short gravel road and bridges over small streams, with mountain views. Awards are provided for the 5K: overall first-place male and female awards, and medals to the top three male and female finishers in each listed age division. There are no awards for the 3K.
