Promise Land 50K

Promise Land is a 50K trail race held on April 25, 2026, near Bedford, Virginia. The start and finish area is at the Promise Land Youth Camp, located between Bedford and Big Island off Highway 122.

The course includes a variety of surfaces, from grassy soft roads to downhill single track, and features more than 7,400 feet of cumulative elevation gain and loss. There are five separate aid stations on course; two of those stations are visited twice, providing aid at seven points. Aid offerings include replacement drinks, soda, water, and a variety of food items.

Awards are presented to all finishers who complete the race in under 10 hours. The event page notes that entry fees are nontransferable and nonrefundable.
