Promise Land 50K++

Promise Land 50K++ is scheduled for April 25, 2026 in Bedford, Virginia. The race is the third event in the Lynchburg Ultra Series and the Blue Ridge Trail Series and uses the Promise Land Youth Camp as the start and finish area. The camp lies between Bedford and Big Island off Highway 122.

The course covers a variety of surfaces, including grassy soft roads and downhill single track, and features more than 7,400 ft of combined elevation gain and loss. Aid is available at five distinct aid stations; two of those stations are passed twice, providing aid at seven points on the course. Aid offerings include replacement drinks, soda, water, and a variety of food items. Awards are presented to all finishers who complete the course in under ten hours.

Event registration is limited to 120 entrants. Posted fees include a base 50K entry of $120 with a total charge of $131.30 including taxes and fees; the price increases after March 31. Registration closes April 21. Organizers state that there will be no transfer or refund of entry fees.
