Promise Land 50K
Promise Land 50K is scheduled for April 25, 2026 near Bedford, Virginia. The start and finish area is at the Promise Land Youth Camp, located between Bedford and Big Island off Highway 122.
The event is a 50K trail race that runs over a mix of surfaces, including grassy soft roads and downhill single track. The course accumulates about 7,400 feet of total elevation gain and loss. Promise Land serves as the third race in the Lynchburg Ultra Series and the Blue Ridge Trail Series.
Aid is available at five separate stations. Two aid stations, Cornelius Creek Trail Junction and Sunset Fields, are passed twice so runners can receive aid at seven points along the course. Typical aid offerings include a replacement drink, soda, water, and a variety of food items.
