The Blackwater Heritage TrailBlazer is scheduled for February 21, 2026 at the Blackwater Heritage Trail Visitor Center, 5533 Alabama Street, Milton, FL 32570. The event takes place on the paved, tree-lined Blackwater Heritage Trail and is open to all ages, walkers and runners, strollers and leashed dogs.

Para-athlete divisions are offered for both the 13 km and the 2.7-mile events. Online registration closes on February 20, 2026 at 7:00pm CST. There is no race day registration for the 13 km; race day registration is available for the 2.7-mile fun run/walk. A shirt sizing guarantee is listed for registrations completed by February 6, 2025; shirts after that date are provided on an inventory basis.

Course, awards and event features

The 13 km course is an out-and-back route on the trail, described as roughly 4 miles out and 4 miles back. The 13 km race includes overall and age group awards, top para-athlete awards, and top walker awards. The fun run does not offer age group awards but will include participant prizes and door prizes. Packet pickup and late registration are handled on race morning at the Visitor Center. The event listing also notes an after-party at a local brewery and a vendor expo.
