Event Information
The Wildcat Ultras is a running event held at the Escambia County Equestrian Center in Pensacola, Florida. The 2026 event is the 13th edition and is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. It offers five race distances: 100 miles, 100 km, 50 miles, 50 km, and 15 miles.
Course and Terrain
The course is a repeatable 2.5-mile loop on the grounds of a 178-acre park. The terrain is primarily grass and hard-packed dirt with gentle rollers and no technical sections. The loop format allows for frequent access to a centralized staging area.
Logistics and Amenities
Packet pick-up is available on Friday and on the morning of the event at the Equestrian Center. The event provides chip timing and live online tracking. A fully stocked aid station is located on the loop, offering a variety of food and drinks. Ice is provided for runners.
On-site amenities include RV parking with hookups for a fee, free camping under a roofed area, and shower facilities. Pacers are allowed after the halfway point of each race or after sunset. The event has specific time limits for each distance, ranging from 9 hours for the 15-mile race to 40 hours for the 100-mile and 100 km races.
Awards
Finishers receive different awards based on their distance: a belt buckle for the 100-mile, a pint glass for the 100 km, and a medallion with a coffee mug for the 50-mile, 50 km, and 15-mile races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
