Wildcat Ultras
The Wildcat Ultras is an ultramarathon event held at the Escambia County Equestrian Center in Pensacola, Florida. The event is presented as the 12th edition in 2026 and uses the 178 acre equestrian park as its venue.
Race distances offered include:
- 100 Miler
- 100K
- 50 Miler
- 50K
- 15 Miler
The course is a repeated 2.5 mile loop composed mostly of grass and dirt. Elevation gain and loss across the course is minimal. The event notes that weather in the Florida Panhandle this time of year is often hot and humid. The same loop has been used for FHSAA Cross Country 2A District and Regional Championships, Gulf Coast Stampede, and Esca-Rosa Panhandle Championships.
The Wildcat Ultras are a USA Track & Field sanctioned and insured event, Event License ID 149595. Finisher awards are distance specific: 100 mile finishers receive a belt buckle, 100K finishers receive a pint glass, 50 mile finishers receive a stainless steel bottle opener, and 50K and 15 mile finishers receive a medallion. First place overall awards for each distance are mailed after the event and include finishing time and course record information if applicable.
