Blackfoot Ultra

Blackfoot Ultra, also known as "Death by 100 Hills", is a trail running event that originated in 2002. The event is described as celebrating 22 years of trail running and community. It was created to highlight the trail system in the Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Provincial Recreation area and to help prepare racers for mountain races later in the season. The event is used both by runners doing their first ultra or their first trail race longer than 10 km and by experienced racers who want to test their speed.
