Rodeo Stampede - San Antonio
The Rodeo Stampede is a high-energy running event held at The Rim Shopping Center in San Antonio. The course utilizes local parks and greenbelts, featuring mixed surfaces such as paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths. The event is designed to accommodate various experience levels with several distance options:
- Kids Dash (approx. 50 meters for ages 10 and under)
- 1 Mile Run
- 5K Run (3.11 miles)
- Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Virtual Run
The competition includes chip timing for the 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon distances. Trophies are awarded to the fastest overall male and female finishers in each timed event, along with special recognition for masters categories and standard age group awards.
All finishers across all distances receive a custom medal and a race shirt. For the Rodeo Stampede, the finisher medals are designed to double as genuine belt buckles.
