Format, awards and logistics
The 4-mile, 8-mile and half marathon are chip-timed. The Kids Dash and the 2-mile event are not chip-timed. All finishers receive a shirt and a finisher medal. The 4-mile, 8-mile and half marathon award trophies to the 1st overall male and female finishers, recognition pins for 1st place masters (age 40+), and standard age-group awards across multiple age categories. Age-group awards include gold, silver and bronze pins for both male and female divisions from 10 & under through 70+.
Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite and dirt paths. Aid stations will be on the course and snacks and bottled water will be available at the finish area. A shirt-guarantee cutoff is set at 10 days before the event. Volunteer options include a Volunteer then Run slot (limited to the first five sign-ups for the 4-mile) and full volunteer roles that offer a Bigfoot race shirt, VIP race access, and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 digital gift card.
