OUTLAST OKC - Night Out Edition

OUTLAST is a six hour trail endurance challenge held August 22-23, 2026 in Oklahoma City at 100 N Stinchcomb Ave. The format requires runners to complete a 5K every hour, on the hour. Each lap must be finished within the hour to remain in the event; if a lap is missed, the participant is removed from the ongoing challenge. Early finishers rest until the next round.

Courses are trail based and may include dirt, rocks, roots, elevation changes, and occasional pavement or gravel. There is time between laps to recover, refuel, and refocus. Headlamps are required for night participants. This is a cupless event; participants should bring their own bottle or hydration system. Aid at basecamp/loop start will include water, basic hydration, and snacks. Tent setups for personal aid stations are permitted.

Awards and recognition are structured by completion and time. Completing four laps earns a “Grit Earned” patch, five laps a “Survivor” patch, and six laps a premium OUTLAST medal. All participants receive a premium OUTLAST tee. Top male and female finishers by combined 5K time win local first place awards. Finishers are ranked on a national leaderboard; the fastest runner across OUTLAST 6 hour events is named National Champion with a $1,000 prize. The first place male and female at this event each receive $1,000. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
