Summer Meltdown Half Marathon - Wheeler Park, Oklahoma City

The event takes place at Wheeler Park in Oklahoma City and offers multiple race options across measured and virtual formats. Distances range from a short Kids Dash to a chip-timed Half Marathon. The course is typically routed on park and green belt trails and may include mixed surfaces such as pavement, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths. Aid stations are positioned along the course to provide water and assistance.

Timing and awards vary by distance: the 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon are chip timed and include overall Bigfoot trophies plus standard age-group awards; the 1 Mile and Kids Dash are not chip timed. The Kids Dash is for children and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and a recognition pin; the 1 Mile includes a tee shirt and race medal.

Volunteer options are available. Full race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP access, and a choice of a future free race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card. A Volunteer then Run option combines pre-race volunteer duties with a chip-timed 5K entry and finisher items; this option is limited to the first five sign-ups. Packet pickup is offered starting 1.5 hours before the event. Shirt availability is guaranteed through a cutoff ten days before the event.
