Aid stations providing water and assistance are positioned along the course. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite and, where unavoidable, dirt paths. Standard age-group awards for the 5K, Quarter Marathon and Half Marathon include 1st overall trophies (male/female), masters recognition pins, and gold/silver/bronze pins across listed age divisions. Race apparel availability is subject to a shirt guarantee cutoff 10 days before the event. Race organizers provide on-site snacks and refreshments at the race rally tent and have a variety of volunteer roles with specified position duties and volunteer rewards.
