Course, awards and services

The course is set in parks and green belts and may use paved trails, crushed granite, and some dirt paths. Aid stations will provide water on course. Packet pickup is offered beginning 1.5 hours before the race start; additional packet pickup, if scheduled, will be communicated by the organizer.

All finishers receive a medal and a shirt. Chip timing applies to the 5K, quarter marathon, and half marathon. Awards include 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers, masters recognition pins for age 40+, and age-group pins and medals for categories from 10 and under through 70+. The event includes a cowboy costume contest with one crowd-selected winner; prizes include a future race entry, a contest trophy, and a prize pack. Snacks and refreshments are available at the finish area, and a mascot will be present for photos.
