Entry, rules, and additional policies
The overall cutoff for all distances is 18 hours. Trekking poles and leashed dogs are allowed. Key race rules include no littering, no course stashing, notifying an aid station if dropping out, and that accepting a ride ends a runner’s race. Runners may not drop down to a shorter distance after a race has started. DNF and DQ policies are enforced for incomplete or out-of-order course completion and for rule violations.
The event participates in the Outlaw Trail Series, which offers a plaque for completing all six series races in a calendar year. Transfer credit for entry is available on a sliding scale: 100% credit 90 days or more before the race, 75% credit 30-89 days, and no credit less than 30 days. Volunteer shifts earn registration discounts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
