Oklahoma City Trail Running Festival
The Oklahoma City Trail Running Festival is a one-day trail event held at 11301 N Meridian Ave in Oklahoma City, OK. The festival stages several trail-based distances on natural terrain with dirt, elevation changes, and occasional gravel or pavement.
Distances offered include:
- 5K (3 miles)
- 15K (9 miles)
- 15K RUCK (9 miles)
- 35K (21 miles)
- 50K (31 miles)
All participants receive a Trail Running Festival soft T-shirt and a finisher medal. 50K finishers receive a 50K finisher medal and ruck finishers receive a Trail Running Festival RUCK patch. Top male and female finishers in each distance receive a first place award; the last place finisher of the 50K receives the DFL award.
The event provides aid stations stocked with water, hydration, and snacks at key points. This is a cupless event, so runners must carry their own water or hydration system. Ruck weight requirements are specified by body weight: 30 lb for participants over 150 lbs, and 20 lb for participants under 150 lbs. Crew and spectator access is allowed and participants may set up tents or crew stations.
Race rules include parking in designated spaces, notifying staff if withdrawing, no littering, no cutting course, and a required water-carrying system for all events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
