The 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon are chip timed. The Kids Dash and 1 Mile are not chip timed. Volunteer then Run includes a custom chip-timed bib, tee, and finisher medal and is limited to a small number of participants. Course surfaces may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt since events are typically held on parks and greenbelts. aid stations providing water will be on course.

Awards, swag and services

All finishers receive a shirt and medal. Age-group awards and overall trophies are offered for timed distances; masters (age 40+) receive special recognition pins. A Cowboy Costume Contest will award a free future race entry, a trophy, and a prize pack to the crowd-selected winner. Snacks and refreshments are available at the race rally tent. Packet pickup is offered starting 1.5 hours before the race. Shirt availability is guaranteed for registrations made at least 10 days before the event.

Volunteers

Full race volunteers check in 1.5 hours before the start and can earn a race shirt, VIP access, and a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card. Kick off 2026 on scenic trails at the River Ranch Resolution Run in Liberty Hill, Texas on January 31. Choose from 50k to 5k distances plus a youth mile and enjoy rolling meadows, river views and century old live oaks.

Experience the Bluebonnet Trail Run at Turkey Bend with scenic Lake Travis views, wooded trails and peak bluebonnet blooms across distances for all ages. Proceeds benefit youth running programs and finishers get a wooden bluebonnet medal.

Pandora's Box of Rox is a trail race at Reveille Peak Ranch, Burnet, Texas, from a 1 mile youth run up to a 52 mile double marathon. Lakeside start and finish, granite domes, creek crossings and on site camping make for a memorable weekend.

Desert Wolf is a rugged trail and ultra at Flat Creek Crossing Ranch near Johnson City, with distances from 5K to 100K plus a 25K ruck. Expect rocky single track, a challenging 15 mile loop, hearty aid stations, finisher swag and awards.
