Event Overview

The Rodeo Stampede is a running event with a Western theme, held at the Marble Falls Mustang Stadium in Texas. It features multiple race distances and additional activities.

Distances

The event offers several race options:

• Kids Dash (approximately 50 meters, for children 10 and under)
• 1 Mile Run
• 5K (3.1 miles)
• Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles)
• Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
• Virtual Run
• Volunteer then Run 5K (limited to the first five sign-ups)

Race Details

The 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon events are chip-timed. The 1 Mile Run and Kids Dash are not timed. All finishers for all distances receive a race medal and a custom event shirt.

Awards are given for the 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon distances. Trophies are presented to the first overall male and female finishers in each event. There are also special recognition pins for the first male and female masters (age 40+) winners. Age group awards (gold, silver, bronze pins) are available across numerous categories from 10 and under to 70+.

Additional Features

A Cowboy Costume Contest is held before the main races, with one winner selected by crowd cheers. The prize includes a free entry to a future race, a trophy, and a prize pack. Music is provided by a DJ, who also announces runners as they finish. The event mascot, Bigfoot, is present for photos and encouragement.

Snacks and refreshments are available at a finish line rally tent. Aid stations with water are located on the course. The courses typically use parks and greenbelts, with surfaces that may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Packet pickup is available on race day.

Registration Notes

Youth pricing is offered for participants 12 and under in the 5K and 10K events. There is a referral discount available, and group discounts increase with group size. A shirt size guarantee applies up to 10 days before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
