Bigfoot - Kimbolton, OH

Bigfoot is a two day trail race held December 5 to 6, 2026 at Salt Fork State Park Lodge in Kimbolton, Ohio. The event offers multiple distances across two days, with awards for each event and age group prizes.

The course is a well marked 10.4 mile loop entirely within Salt Fork State Park. It runs on hiking and bridle trails with rolling hills, marked by pink blazes and permanent wooden signs. The route is noted in the event information as abrasive on trail shoes. Participants in the 50K complete three loops totaling more than 4,000 feet of elevation gain; the 20 mile is two loops and the 10 mile is one loop.

Swag options include a triblend tee and finisher medal, or a hoodie and finisher medal for an additional premium. Donations from the event benefit Guernsey County Sheriff’s Mounted Search and Rescue. A participant guide and course maps are provided by the organizer. The event is part of the Ohio Endurance Series and features series qualification opportunities and athlete trading cards for qualifiers. Lodging is available at the Salt Fork Lodge; lodge rooms require a two night minimum and a refundable deposit policy applies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
