Event Overview
The Bigfoot trail running event takes place over two days. Saturday features the 50K, 20 Mile, and 10 Mile distances. Sunday features a separate 10 Mile event. Awards are given for all events. A discount of 50% is offered for the Sunday 10-mile event for participants who also race on Saturday.
Course Details
The course is a single 10.4-mile loop on hiking and bridle trails within Salt Fork State Park in Kimbolton, Ohio. It is described as having rolling hills and is marked with pink blazes and permanent wooden signs. The 50K distance consists of three loops, the 20-mile distance is two loops, and the 10-mile distance is one loop. The 50K event involves over 4,000 feet of total elevation gain.
Registration & Series
The event is part of the Ohio Endurance Series, which features trail races in various Ohio parks. Participants can receive a series trading card with their photo and race stats by completing four events in the series. Awards within the series are given for top overall, masters, grand masters, and senior masters placements.
Participant Information
All participants receive a finisher medal. Swag options include a Triblend T-shirt or a Hoodie (for an additional premium).
