Bigfoot Trail Race at Salt Fork State Park

The Bigfoot event is a trail race hosted at the Salt Fork Lodge in Kimbolton, Ohio. Recognized as a significant gathering in the tri-state area, the event typically draws over 900 participants. The race weekend features multiple distances conducted on natural surface trails within the park grounds.

Participants can choose from a variety of race lengths based on their preference:

Registration for the various distances opens nearly a year in advance and remains available until approximately one month before the event dates. The course takes runners through the forested landscape surrounding the Salt Fork Lodge and Natural Resources Road 3. The 10 Mile distance is the only event offered on both days of the weekend, while the longer distances take place on the first scheduled day.
