Big Tesuque Trail Run
Santa Fe, United States • 10 Oct 2026
The Big T
The Big T is scheduled for October 10, 2026, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and marks the 40th running of this annual event. The start and finish are at the Aspen Vista parking lot on Hyde Park Road (NM-475) and the route lies within the Santa Fe National Forest.
The course climbs for six miles and gains 2,000 feet to the summit of Tesuque Peak, then returns to Aspen Vista for a round-trip total of 12 miles. The route follows a single out-and-back alignment to the peak.
Two event entries are listed: Trail Race (Runners) and Early Start (Run or Walk). Both entries cover 12 miles and have a listed registration fee of $50.
Race proceeds benefit Wings of America, a charitable group that supports running programs for Native American youth and teens. Organizers state a fundraising goal of $5,000 and note that a $20 donation is appreciated when affordable.
Organizers acknowledge that the event is held on the ancestral lands of the people of Tesuque Pueblo. The event materials express gratitude to Native communities, acknowledge a history of displacement and colonization, and state a commitment to deepen understanding of these lands and their indigenous stewards.
