The Big Tesuque Trail Run is a challenging 12-mile up-and-back trail race held annually in Santa Fe, New Mexico, starting at Aspen Vista on Hyde Park Road (NM-475). Since 1985, runners have ascended approximately 2,000 feet over six miles to the summit of Tesuque Peak in the Santa Fe National Forest, reaching an elevation of about 12,000 feet, before returning to the start. The course features a steady climb on a dirt and rock road with spectacular mountain views. This event supports Wings of America, a nonprofit aiding Native American youth running programs, and fosters respect for the indigenous lands it traverses.
