Big Tesuque Trail Run

Santa Fe, United States • 11 Oct 2025

Big Tesuque Trail Run in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a 12-mile up-and-back mountain run on the Aspen Vista Trail in the Santa Fe National Forest. Runners ascend about 2,000 feet, from around 10,000 ft toward Tesuque Peak (12,030 ft), then descend back to the Aspen Vista area. The course follows FS-150, a closed dirt-and-rock road, with two aid stations and a marked turnaround at the summit.

Proceeds benefit Wings of America. The Santa Fe Striders host a cupless, volunteer-organized race that honors the ancestral Tesuque Pueblo lands and encourages carpooling due to limited parking. Now in its 39th year, the tradition draws regional runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
