The 5 km route goes out toward Casterton golf club and returns along the river, including the Mill Brow section. The 10 km uses local footpaths and bridleways around Casterton and Bullpot, returning via Devils Bridge and the river path to the radical steps. The 20 km tours Brownthwaite Pike (Bullpot), follows fell roads and bridleways to a trig point and cairn with views over the Lune Valley, then returns to Devils Bridge and the river path.

Navigation notes: the 10 km is recommended for those who can self-navigate; the 20 km requires self-navigation. All runs have a cut-off at 1pm.
