The Beechworth Beer Run is a trail running event in Beechworth, Victoria, based at Lake Sambell Caravan Park. The event uses the Indigo Epic Mountain Bike Trail and other local trails. The 30 km race is a bus-supported, point-to-point course from Yackandandah to Beechworth. The event is presented in association with local breweries and trail organisers.

  • 30km Full Pint - Point-to-point Yackandandah to Beechworth via Indigo Epic Trail.
  • 15km Half Pint - Loop starting and finishing at Lake Sambell, using Pipeline and Indigo trails.
  • 5km Quencher - Loop around Lake Sambell past old mine, Chinese Gardens and Sandy Beach.
  • 2.5km Kids Cordial Cruze - Marshalled loop around Lake Sambell with cordial aid station and finisher award.

Race services, mapping and entry rules

Aid stations provide water, Tailwind nutrition and cordial for children. The 15 km and 30 km distances include non-alcoholic beer on course and a free beer redeemable at the finish for over-18s; under-18s receive cans of soft drink instead. The 5 km and 2.5 km events do not include the free beer offer on completion.

Digital mapping and GPX downloads are available via AllTrails with QR codes for each distance. Entry pricing uses Early Bird, Standard and Late periods. There are no refunds after midnight 1 September 2026; refunds before that date are subject to an administration fee. Entries may be transferred to another person.
