Beechworth Beer Run 2026

The Beechworth Beer Run is held at Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park, Peach Drive, Beechworth, Victoria. The event is organised by Tour de Trails together with Bridge Road Brewers and offers multiple trail distances, family-focused services and on-course aid stations.

Distances offered include:

  • 30 km Full Pint - point-to-point from Yackandandah Sport Park to Beechworth Lake Sambell.
  • 15 km Half Pint - loop starting and finishing at Lake Sambell Caravan Park.
  • 5 km Quencher - loop past Lake Sambell, old mine, Chinese Gardens and Sandy Beach.
  • 2.5 km Kids Cordial Cruze - marshalled loop with cordial aid station and finisher award.

The Full Pint follows the Indigo Epic Mountain Bike Trail for about 90% of the course, with the remainder on 4WD trail, and is bus-supported for the point-to-point format. The Half Pint uses the Pipeline Trail and the Indigo Trail. Aid stations include standard trail-run provisions and Tailwind Nutrition; an alcohol-free beer option is provided at a key checkpoint. All over-18 finishers receive a free beer at completion; entrants under 18 receive two cans of soft drink.

Standard entry fees listed are A$170 for the 30 km, A$90 for the 15 km, A$50 for the 5 km and A$15 for the kids event. Refunds are available only if cancellation is notified before 1 September 2026 and will incur a A$30 administration fee; no refunds are issued after that date. Trail runs nearby

A mountain stage near Baranduda on June 21, 2026, featuring a 16.3 km long course with about 845 m climb and a 6.9 km short course. Trails include farmland sections, technical terrain, and a prominent descent.

A trail event at Ludlows Reserve featuring a winding ascent to Mahers Hill, views of Lake Hume, and two distances: 17.3 km and 8.7 km. Coffee, parking and an aid station at 10 km are available.

A multi-distance trail running event in the Warby Ranges, held around Booths Winery and Black Dog Brewery. Routes range from a 2 km kids run to a 50 km ultra, with varied single track, local food, winery pours and craft beer.

A final round of the Riverina Trail Running Series at Julia Ronan Park in West Wodonga on August 23, 2026. Three trail distances are offered with aid stations, parking, and on-site coffee.
