Kwat Kwat Trail Run

Kwat Kwat Trail Run is a multi-distance trail event held in August 2026 at Booths Winery and in the Warby Ranges near Taminick, Victoria. The course travels through vineyards, rolling hills and grass tree forest within the Warby Range National Park area and includes the Kwat Kwat lookout.

Available distances include:

• 2 km Kids Run
• 6 km Cellar Trail
• 12 km Heritage Trail
• 25 km Alpine Views
• 50 km Kwat Kwat Ultra

Race details vary by distance. The Cellar 6 km follows Cellar track with about 180 metres of elevation gain and a long downhill finish. The Heritage 12 km uses fire trail and single track and has about 380 metres of elevation gain; prize money is offered for the first three male and female finishers. The Alpine Views 25 km ascends the Alpine Views walking track to Kwat Kwat lookout, includes roughly 800 metres of elevation gain and a cut off of six hours; prize money is offered. The Kwat Kwat Ultra 50 km is two loops of the 25 km course, about 1,600 metres of elevation gain, includes two visits to the lookout and a ten hour cut off; prize money and retailer vouchers are listed for top finishers.

Minimum age rules apply for each distance and some events have no cut off time. Post-race food options include wood fired pizza and BBQ, with Booths Winery wines and craft beers from Black Dog Brewery. Full event and course details will be released closer to the event.
