Beaconsfield 5 Trail Run

The Beaconsfield 5 Trail Run is an athletic event held on the private grounds of the Hall Barn Estate. The course consists of a single 5-mile loop (approximately 8046 metres) that starts and finishes at the same location. Organized by the Burnham Joggers, the race is held under an England Athletics licence.

The multi-terrain route primarily features estate paths and trails, though the first and final half-mile of the course take place on tarmac surfaces. Participants are advised that trail shoes are typically recommended for this environment, while the use of spikes is prohibited. For safety reasons, the use of headphones is discouraged so that marshals' instructions remain audible.

Race headquarters are located at the Beaconsfield Rugby Club at Windsor End. Facilities at the clubhouse include a bar area for bag storage, limited indoor toilets, and portable toilet units located outside the building. While the event does not offer a managed bag drop, participants may leave belongings in the designated area at their own risk.

The event utilizes chip timing, with the timing device attached to the back of the race number. Awards are presented in several categories, including the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as winners in age categories ranging from 40 to over 70. Parking is available at the nearby M40 service station, which provides a footpath connection to the race headquarters. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
