BAR-KA-KOO Ultra & Relay takes place on November 22, 2025, at Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area in Parkland County. The course is approximately 55 km in total and is run as 5 x 11 km loops. The event has a 10 hour cutoff. The route is about 75% technical single-track, has minimal course marking, and is self-supported. Participants alternate direction on each loop and must pass mandatory checkpoints on every loop.

Entries, services and rules

Entry is offered as solo and team relays with a 100 participant limit. Fee levels listed include early bird and after Sep 20th rates: solo (Full Moose) $55 early / $70 after; 2-person relay (Half Rack) $100 early / $130 after; 5-person relay (The Herd) $225 early / $275 after. Registration includes event-branded swag and a finisher medal. Package pick-up is available only on the day of the event. The start/finish is at a park gate. Onsite services include a participant warming tent, soup, tea, coffee and water, and outhouses. The park remains open to the public and dogs are not allowed on the race course. All finishers are entered into a draw; one drawn name will receive a portion of net proceeds and a portion of net proceeds will go to Little Warriors.
