Hill of a Race is part of the River's Edge Running Series and takes place on April 5, 2026 at Rabbit Hill Snow Resort in Edmonton, AB (20715 57 Ave SW). The course uses groomed ski runs with an approximate loop length of 2.5 km. Runners will go up and down the ski slopes; extra traction under footwear may be required and walking poles are permitted. The event is timed and includes an aid station with food. All proceeds from the event support Olive Tree Projects, which operates a maternity centre in Jacmel, Haiti. Registration is available online only and participants must read and agree to the event waiver. All finishers receive handcrafted medals and racers receive a voucher redeemable for a one day lift ticket for the 2026/2027 Rabbit Hill ski season. Gift certificates are available.
