The main route gains approximately 504 m of climb and is rated as difficult terrain. The route is fully marked and GPS devices are permitted. The event is part of the Leinster League.
Entry fee is €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. Entries open Monday 15th June 2026 at 21:00 and close Wednesday 17th June 2026 at 12:00. There is a limit of 200 places; entries are not yet open.
Mandatory kit is Level B and must be brought to the race: waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag. The exact kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day and advised at registration. Random kit checks may be carried out and failure to have required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification.
The short course follows a straight route up to the WW boardwalk and returns the same way. Prizegiving location is to be confirmed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
