Baldydash 2026 - San Anselmo, CA

Baldydash is the third annual community run, hike, and walk on Bald Hill in San Anselmo. The course begins at Robson House and finishes at Imagination Park in downtown San Anselmo for the Live on the Avenue celebration. The route covers 4.75 miles with approximately 1,200 feet of elevation gain and follows steep trail terrain. Participants may run, hike, or walk the route.

Organizers list several event features for 2026: fresh merchandise, a mix of returning and new sponsors, official endorsement by the town of San Anselmo, additional nonprofit beneficiaries, improved route markings, and possible childcare. All participants receive a race t shirt and other swag at the finish. Timing is not an official focus of the event, and the event highlights a unique recognition called The Averager, awarded to the person who finishes in the middle of the field.

The finish area combines live music, beverages, and a gathering of participants and community members. The stated goals are to bring people together, encourage outdoor movement, support local business, and raise funds for local nonprofit partners including Live on the Avenue and The YES Foundation.
