The event offers six race distances:

Key Event Details

The event uses two main locations: Westside Village at the base of Mount Bachelor and Pine Marten Lodge, which is 1,400 feet higher up the mountain. These locations have facilities including restrooms, food, water, and restaurants. Registration includes use of the Pine Marten Chairlift to travel between these two points during the event.

Parking is available at Westside Village, including options for car and RV camping in the parking area. Additional camping options are available in Bend and the surrounding Deschutes National Forest.

Aid stations are provided on the courses. The Saturday timed loop events feature a fully-stocked aid station and a sleep station at Pine Marten Lodge. The Summit Vista 16K has two aid stations, and the Cloudchaser 12K has one aid station at Pine Marten Lodge.

Course Information

All races take place at high elevation. The timed Summit Loops are a 4.77-mile loop with 1,785 feet of elevation gain and loss per loop, with elevations ranging from 7,280 to 9,027 feet.

The Summit Vista 16K course gains and loses 2,714 feet, with a low point of 6,370 feet and a high point of 9,030 feet. The Cloudchaser 12K course gains and loses 1,404 feet, with elevations from 6,370 to 7,725 feet. The Red Road Hill Dash is a 2.29-mile ascent gaining 1,364 feet, finishing at Pine Marten Lodge.
