Bachelor Summit Trailfest

Bachelor Summit Trailfest is a set of alpine trail races on Mount Bachelor in the Central Oregon Cascades, held October 3–4, 2026. The event includes timed summit loops and shorter loop races that use trail and singletrack terrain at high elevation. The start/finish and race headquarters operate from West Village Lodge and Pine Marten Lodge. Use of the Pine Marten chairlift between the two lodges is included with registration for the duration of the events.

The event offers multiple aid stations and on-site facilities at the lodges, including restrooms, food, and café services. Parking is available at West Village Lodge; car and RV camping are permitted in that parking area. Additional nearby car, tent, and RV camping is available in Bend and the Deschutes National Forest. Medical support is provided by Adventure Medics. The event runs under a Special Use Permit issued by the U.S. Forest Service and recognizes tribes with historic ties to the area, including the Tenino, Wasco, Warm Springs, and Northern Paiute peoples. A portion of race profits will be donated to support a local artist for medical expenses.

• Red Road Hill Dash: 2.29 miles, 1,364 feet gain, low 6,370 ft, high 7,736 ft.
