Baby Shippey
Baby Shippey is a trail running event at Beaumont Reservation in High Ridge, MO. The event offers two distances on rugged, primitive trails that use gravel, powerline corridors and ATV paths.
The courses feature large rocks and boulders, rough off-camber sections, a narrow loose-gravel switchback, and both steep ascents and steep descents. Runners will also encounter a fast jeep road section and other uneven terrain that requires careful footing. The 10K follows the first three miles of the half course, then splits and rejoins the final 1.5 miles.
Distances include:
- 13.05 miles about 2,390 feet of climbing
- 6 miles just over 1,100 feet of climbing
Aid stations are located at approximately mile 3 and mile 8.2 on the half course, and at mile 3 on the 10K. Packet pickup and post race activities take place at the Cub World Building, where food and ice cream will be available and the finish area adjoins a creek and a shelter. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women in each distance. Registration policies note bib transfers, cancellations and distance changes are allowed until June 5, 2026, and no refunds or deferrals are offered.
