Austin Rattler Run

The Austin Rattler Run at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas, is scheduled for Sunday, November 15, 2026. The event offers trail running over singletrack and fire roads through Texas Hill Country, featuring lakes and rolling hills.

Aid stations are placed every 10 miles and are located just past the start/finish area where a neutral bag drop is available. The 10 mile runners do not access the aid station on course; 20 mile runners pass it once; 50K runners pass it twice. Aid station items include GU Roctane hydration and gels, stroopwafels, Bobo’s PB&J and fig bars, chips and candy. Finish line supplies include Mighty Spark chicken sticks, pretzels, Hoist Hydration, and Splendor Water.

Registration fees are listed per distance with youth pricing $30 off. Minimum ages on race day are 12 for 10 mile, 14 for 20 mile, and 16 for 50K. There are course cutoffs including a final lap cutoff and a full course cutoff; missing cutoffs may result in removal at the discretion of race officials. Wheelchair participation is not permitted due to course safety restrictions.

The 50K serves as a qualifier for the Life Time Leadville Trail 100 Run and MTB; at least 35 qualifier coins are available and coins are awarded only to 50K finishers. Awards are given by overall and age categories with specified prize allocations and lottery distribution for remaining qualifier coins.
