Austin Rattler Run

The Austin Rattler Run is scheduled for Sunday, November 15, 2026 at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas. The event offers trail running on singletrack and fire roads across courses laid out on Texas Hill Country terrain and near lakes.

Aid stations are positioned approximately every 10 miles and are located just past the start/finish area where a neutral bag drop is provided. Runners in the 10 mile event will not access the aid station during their run; 20 mile participants pass once; 50K participants pass twice. Aid station supplies include hydration, energy gels, stroopwafles, Bobo's PB&J and fig bars, chips, and candy. The finish area offers additional snacks and bottled hydration.

Registration fees are listed for each distance with a youth discount of $30 for entrants under 18. Minimum ages to register are specified per distance. There are course cutoffs and event officials may remove participants who miss them. Any athlete who changes distance mid-race is ineligible for awards.

The Austin Rattler Run is a qualifier for the Life Time Leadville Trail 100 Run and MTB. A minimum number of qualifying slots are reserved for 50K finishers and are awarded based on performance and a post-race lottery; winners must be present at awards to receive a slot.
